All attendees are invited for an informal evening of mingling, drinks and friendly discussion.
Following Thursday’s lightning talks, all attendees are invited for an informal evening of mingling, drinks and friendly discussion.
Sharing the spirit of a barcamp or an un-conference, anyone is welcome to share their work. You might want to show something from your smartphone or your laptop, or bring along a rough sketch of an idea you'd like to discuss. It’s a great way to meet the community and share ideas.
Throughout the evening, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet EuroIA gold sponsors (OptimalWorkshop, SapientNitro, MailChimp and af83), see their demos, and hear about current job offers.
Last but not least, we'll be facilitating book signings from many of the speakers, so you'll have the chance to meet the likes of Gerry McGovern, Jorge Arango, Donna Spencer, Noz Urbina, Claire Rowland, Andrea Resmini, Eric Reiss, Thomas Wendt, Alistair Duff and Rahel Anne Baillie, and have them sign your copy of their books. You're welcome to bring your own copy.
The Koepelkerk (or Ronde Lutherse Kerk) is a former Lutheran church, now part of the Renaissance Hotel. During the Thursday evening, we have this impressive cupola at our disposal — a beautiful domed church, built in 1668 and figure leading to a painting by Vincent Van Gogh.
Let’s meet and catch up with old friends, and make some new ones in the process. Not forgetting to have a few drinks and some appetisers to get settled in!

EuroIA returns to Amsterdam, the city that in 2008 hosted probably the most successful and definitely the most well-attended of all EuroIA conferences.
EuroIA 2016 takes place at The Renaissance Hotel, in the heart of Amsterdam, within walking distance of the Amsterdam central train station and Amsterdam's main highlights.
